PLEASE READ: IMPORTANT INFO
We look forward to reopening for the 2021/2022 season. A number of amazing new performances and events have been added to our fantastic long awaited lineup of postponed productions! Seats will be limited due to distancing requirements and vaccinations are required for all patrons, staff, volunteers, technical crew and performers as of September 22, 2021. Please bring proof of vaccination and photo ID and arrive early for screening.
Front of the line early access tickets will be available for FRIENDS OF FESTIVAL HALL members. To become a Friend of Festival Hall for $10 a month, please visit the "How to Show Support" link or scroll down on this page.
We are currently limiting the number of seats available due to the uncertainty of the restrictions which may be put in place by the governments or Medical Officer of Health. We are hopeful that additional seats will be made available by early fall.
OUR IN PERSON BOX OFFICE OPENS THURSDAY EVENINGS 5-8 P.M. beginning SEPTEMBER 23, 2021. BEFORE YOU COME, PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION UNDER "BOX OFFICE" IN THE MENU.
PLEASE NOTE THAT MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO APRIL 2022
The current regulations require patrons to only sit with members of their household and to be six feet apart from all others. Not only does this decrese our capacity to about 15 percent, it takes away from the enjoyment of going to a show with your friends. Our performers work hard and there are many expenses in bringing the group to the theatre 15 percent capacity not only makes no financial sense, but it creates an issue on asking some people to change seats or to give up seats.
REFUNDS: All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable, which has been the theatre policy for several years and is the same as most performing arts venues in Canada. When an event is postponed, existing tickets will be honoured. In the event of a full cancellation, tickets will be refunded. WITH CAPACITY LIMITS, VACCINE PROOF REQUIREMENTS AND OUR COMMITMENT TO MAKE PATRONS FEEL SAFE AND COMFORTABLE, ANYONE who requests a refund will be granted one FOR A LIMITED TIME UNTIL OCTOBER 6, 2021. HOWEVER there will be a $10 fee per ticket which covers our costs to process same. This includes the original PayPal and Credit Card fees we are charged at 3.9 percent of purchase that we can’t get back and our ticketing provider costs. Original ticketing fees will NOT be refunded as we cannot get that back. AFTER OCTOBER 6, 2021 YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELLING YOUR TICKETS.
Regarding masking and vaccination, if a patron is unable or unwilling to adhere to same, it will be their responsibility to sell their tickets privately to avoid the above fee or contact us BEFORE OCTOBER 6, 2021 at email@example.com for a full refund less the fees. We want to do our part to make sure that our performers, patrons and volunteers are safe and comfortable in order to maximize the enjoyment of the performance.
These are uncertain and difficult times for us all. Our theatre has been closed for 18 months. Please be kind when dealing with our volunteers and staff. We are unable to make some decisions because the situation changes on almost a daily basis. Thank you for your ongoing patience and support.
We are also looking for volunteers. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
